How It Works

The Knowledge Base Integration system works through a secure, multi-stage process that preserves data privacy while enabling powerful information retrieval:

  1. Connection & Indexing: NouIA connects to your knowledge sources through secure APIs or database connections. Documents are processed and indexed on dedicated infrastructure within Andorra, creating a semantic search index without storing the full content of your documents.
  2. Query Understanding: When a user asks a question, NouIA analyzes the query to understand the intent and required information.
  3. Relevant Document Retrieval: The system searches your knowledge index to identify the most relevant documents or data sources for answering the specific query.
  4. Permission Verification: Before retrieving any content, NouIA checks whether the user has permission to access the identified information sources.
  5. Content Processing: Authorized content is retrieved and processed to extract the specific information needed to answer the query.
